Step 3 of the Blitz Process: The Heads-Up

The Heads-Up.

The #1 thing a parent can do. It takes five minutes.

A warmed-up contact answers the phone on Blitz Night; a cold call goes to voicemail. You're not asking for money — you're telling your people a call is coming. That one text is the difference.

When: 1–3 days before Blitz Night

The message — text it to every contact

“Hey! [Student] will be reaching out on [Day] about their band fundraiser. The money goes directly to reducing fees and building a stronger program. Just wanted to give you a heads up!”

Swap in your student's name and the Blitz Night day before you send it.

  • DO name the day — “on Thursday” beats “soon.”
  • DO send it to every contact on the list.
  • DON'T ask for money — that's your student's job on Blitz Night.
