About Our Campaign

About Us

The Lakeside High School Band is 180 students strong: marching band, two concert bands, jazz band and color guard. We rehearse before school, after school and most Saturdays in the fall, and we represent Lakeside at every home football game and at UIL competition. The Band Boosters are the parents behind the program. We feed the band, move the equipment, sew the flags and make sure no student is ever left home because of money.

Why We're Fundraising

Every year the band costs more than the district can cover: uniform cleaning and repair, the music and drill for the fall show, buses to Region and Area, and the instrument repairs that keep a hundred-year-old tuba playing. This campaign asks every family to share a link with the people who love their student. No candy, no wrapping paper, no door to door.
