Everything is ready! Here are some common questions that participants ask during the actual blitz event. Remember, the most successful organizations keep this kickoff super fun, competitive and ensure all volunteers and directors are engaged with the students.
Someone just made a donation and it is not showing on my campaign?
The site is cached so it takes some time for the site to update the amount donated. However, an email will be sent to the participant for each donation. During kickoff it is best to have the participant check their emails.
A donor is going to do a match donation with their company, can I use that total amount for kickoff pledge incentives?
Yes, have the student tell the volunteer the pledge amount the person is going to donate regardless of the payment type and they will enter in the tracker.
Can someone send cash?
Yes, have the donor choose “check donation” instead of the credit card options. Then tell the participant to bring the cash in and give it to or put it in the established location you have set up as an org for cash coming in
Someone is sending a check, can I use that for kickoff pledge incentives?

I do not know my password to login to my backstage.
Remind the participant that the username is their email address and the default password is their mobile number. If they totally get stuck, text me the student email address and I will get them going.
How do I send my link to donors?
Have the participant scan the “Backstage” QR code on the script. Once they are logged in they will see the “Send” and “Send link to donors” buttons. Reference Step 10 for more detailed information.
How do I create my campaign?
Use the instructions at the bottom of the script each student has. There is a QR code for them to scan to create their campaign. Reference Step 10.
I created multiple campaigns, is that an issue?
No, we will clean that up after kickoff
I am attempting to reset my password and I am not getting the email to reset the password
99% of this situation is because the participant does not know that their mobile number is there password. If all else fails email me and I will reset the password.
I did not get the link to my campaign.
The most common issue is the participant mis-typed their email address AND mobile number when they created the campaign. To solve this, have them start over and create a new campaign with a new email address. If this does not resolve the text me or email me the email address and mobile number of the user.
A participant is truly stuck
