RapidFundraising Fundraising LLC (“RapidFundraising,” “we”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We are committed to never selling, renting, or sharing personal data with third parties for their marketing.
2. Roles Defined
- Participants: Individuals (e.g., students, parents) who create RapidFundraising accounts to participate in campaigns.
- Organizers: Individuals responsible for creating, managing, or overseeing campaigns (e.g., booster officers, coaches, directors).
3. Information We Collect
- Account Data: names, emails, phone numbers, organization/school affiliation.
- Campaign Data: fundraiser names, goals, participation data.
- Supporter Data: contact information (phone numbers, emails) uploaded by Participants or Organizers.
- Messaging Data: opt-ins, opt-outs, timestamps, Twilio MessageSIDs.
- Device/Usage Data: IP addresses, cookies, interactions.
- Payment Data: limited transactional metadata from payment processors.
4. How We Use Information
- Operate accounts and campaigns.
- Send only consent request SMS to supporters; send fundraising texts only after explicit opt-in.
- Maintain TCPA/CTIA compliance logs.
- Communicate service updates and security notices.
- Prevent fraud and ensure system integrity.
5. SMS Consent Program
- Opt-in required before fundraising texts are sent.
- Frequency: up to 4 msgs per campaign.
- Quiet Hours: 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. local time.
- STOP/HELP/START keywords supported.
- Msg&Data rates may apply.
- Messages clearly identify RapidFundraising and/or the nonprofit.
- Consent is not required for donation.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share personal information except as necessary to provide the Service:
- Service Providers: Twilio (SMS delivery), payment processors, cloud hosts.
- Organizers: may receive limited supporter engagement info.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights/safety.
7. Data Retention
- SMS consent/opt-out records are retained at least 4 years for compliance.
- Other data retained as long as necessary for service or legal obligations.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- SMS: reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help, START to re-subscribe.
- Email: use unsubscribe links.
- Data Access/Deletion: email support@rapidfundraising.com to request access, correction, or deletion.
9. Security
We use safeguards including encryption, access controls, and logging. No system is completely secure, but we take protection seriously.
10. Children
- Under 13 not permitted.
- Ages 13–17 require parent/guardian involvement in account setup and supporter data entry.
11. International Use
Our Service is U.S.-based. Data is processed and stored in the U.S.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
