At RapidFundraising, the privacy of our visitors is a priority. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by RapidFundraising and how we use it.

RapidFundraising is a platform that empowers nonprofits to expand the impact of fundraising campaigns. The RapidFundraising website, platform and service (collectively, the “Service”) is provided to assist with nonprofit fundraising activities.

RapidFundraising collects your data as part of the Service in several contexts, including when:
– You provide it to RapidFundraising to register an account;
– You provide it to RapidFundraising to participate in a fundraising campaign; or
– A fundraising participant provides it to RapidFundraising as a potential donor.

RapidFundraising collects information including first and last names, contact information including email and phone numbers. RapidFundraising does not collect other personal information of users.

This data collected by RapidFundraising is only used for the purposes of fundraising for the company, individual, or organization that contracted with RapidFundraising. This data will be used to manage your account, operate the fundraising campaign, and to contact you with related business. This data remains the property of the company, individual, or organization that contracts with RapidFundraising.

RapidFundraising will retain data for one year by default. If the company, individual, or organization who contracted RapidFundraising services requests RapidFundraising to retain the data longer RapidFundraising will store data in a secure location for a maximum of 3 years. We will retain and use data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

RapidFundraising will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.

Log Files

RapidFundraising follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and are apart of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. Fundraiser Reminders

The company, individual, or organization that contracted with RapidFundraising has given RapidFundraising the permission to remind potential donors of a fundraiser via electronic methods. Those methods can be email or SMS messages. The individuals receiving these reminders can opt-out of reminders at any time. All fundraiser participants have the option to have potential donors opt-out of any communication regarding the fundraiser.

Our service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

RapidFundraising’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.
