BUILDING CONFIDENCE & PRIDE

The Wolfpack Singers of East Edisto Middle School exists to empower young musicians so that they can become independent, competent leaders for the future as well as have tons of fun along the way! We have an amazing group of student leaders, parents, administrators, and community supporters. The program has established itself as one of the strongest choral programs in the state even within our short existence with our varsity treble choir invited to perform at the South Carolina Choral Directors Association Fall Conference and our varsity cambiata baritone choir invited to perform at the South Carolina Music Educators Association Professional Development conference. The Wolfpack Singers are a consistent superior and superior with distinction program within the state of SC. Our first year in existence, we were the only middle school program out of all band, choirs, and strings programs in the entire state to achieve superior and superior with distinction from all judges with 3 different groups, a feat that inspired others in the following years to strive for this standard.
On top of this, we have quickly become the most active and decorated middle school choral program in DDTwo having performed at Walt Disney World, with a non-varsity choir having earned the Silver Award at Southern Star Music Festival, performing for the Summerville Italian Feast, with The Summerville Orchestra, at the EEMS Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Veteran’s Day Ceremonies, our Winter Showcase and Spring Showcase, our Black History Programs, and Heulen varsity treble choir to be a featured ensemble at the South Carolina Choral Directors Association Fall Conference becoming the first program in DDTwo history to earn this coveted honor. Students within our program represent our school in our district gifted and talented Pathway program, by receiving superior ratings at SCMEA Solo & Ensemble, as members of SC ACDA State Honor Choir, and many other community events. We are proud to be one of the top choral programs in SC while also being an amazing musical family!
Please Help Us This Year!
We are raising money because we are one of the most active and prestigious choral programs in the state but receive no budget. Everything we spend, we need to either raise or have donated. With us limited to two fundraisers per year, it is crucial that we find ways to provide opportunities for students as we need to provide transportation, register for events, pay for instrumental accompanists, and world class interactions with professionals. This year alone, our varsity treble choir, Heulen, will be performing at the Fall Conference for South Carolina Choral Directors Association and our tenor bass choir, In bocca al lupo, will be performing at the South Carolina Music Educators Association conference in February. These are historic firsts for DD2 and even historic firsts for the state.
